Just imagine what made the PESPSICO CEO Indra Nooyi awestruck at her plush headquarters in New York. Moreover, mind you in the company of three students of the Indian School of Business, Hyderabad. She was much impressed with the students’ analysis on packaged breakfast market in India, besides their identification of opportunities and creative product solutions and brand improvement ideas. They presented a solid presentation of a packaged breakfast alternative for the food giant. Moreover went on further and also prepared actual samples of the products and offered them to Nooyi and her team at the presentation.
The Pepsi team felt the ideas were ‘feasible’ and ‘in line with what they were already doing’. Company officials say that the ideas proposed by the team `have been shared’ with the R&D team for further testing.
The team calling themselves `Nothing Official’ made an official indelible impression on the foodie. The 3 students were Indradeep Das, Sunitha Subramaniam and Sameep Mendiratta from ISB beating 200 others from various business colleges in India, in the contest, `’Become Indra’s Advisors Contest’. The students are sure to be Icons and Heroes of the future. They have crossed the thresholds of the prestigious institution to tread into the competitive world and carve a niche for themselves.
