Final Countdown; Demo Day 2018 semi-finalists compete for the big win

Startups Club and Kotak Mahindra Bank in association with Startup India, is hosting its 6th annual Demo Day on the 15th and 16th of December at KTPO, Whitefield, Bangalore.

Demo Day is the biggest Startup event of the year with 26 early stage startups shortlisted from 24 states across India competing to win a grand prize of Rs. 10 lakh. This year’s event will be expecting the largest turnout yet, with more than 10,000 attendees, 150+ influencers, 30 qualified startups, over 50 business stalls and notable industry experts like Padmaja Ruparel, Co-Founder at India Angel Network & Founding Partner of IAN Fund, Michael Marks, MD of Innoventure Partners, Sameer Garde, President India and SAARC at Cisco India, Anish Srikrishna – President of Times Learning, Mustafa PC – founder, CEO of iD fresh food PVT Ltd, Julli Hiio, Deputy Head of Mission, Estonian Embassy and Shekar Bhandari, Senior Vice President and Business Head, Kotak Mahindra Bank and Rajendra Dandapani, Business Solutions Evangelist, Zoho Corporation.

The semi-finalists are a diverse mix of startups spanning several industries namely Trillbit (IT), Nearfit (fitness), Level App (education), Easy Nirman (construction) and Earth Energy (smart automotive) amongst many others. Their innovations will be presented to a panel of esteemed industry experts to win a cash prize to fund their growth plans. The event will be a melting pot of young creative talent, experienced investors and industry experts all under one roof, giving them a platform to stage their innovations, network, meet potential investors and engage in the startup ecosystem.

The primary partners for the event are Kotak Mahindra Bank, Razorpay Inc, VITTBI, Dell and Intel, Team Viewer, Digital Ocean, Intuit, and Zoho Corporation. The global collaboration partners are E- Residency and Gen India. Also, there are over 20 associate partners from across India coming together to showcase their brands at Demo Day.
