Are you worried about the scrap & dead electronics
Do you want to dispose e-waste
Are you fed up old equipments
Are you looking for ways to get rid of the unused items
Seriously thinking what to do with your e-waste
Most of the metro residents and businesses face these regular issues. Out of fancy for new, we buy them and with frequent upgrade of technology, newer ones take the place of the used ones. Finally, we are at the mercy of the roadside dealers to get rid of such scrap.
These dealers convince us that it is totally a waste and act as they are doing a favour, in taking them, away. Hence, fair price is a distant dream, sometimes we give them away free. Moreover, in case we are reluctant the item stays as an extra baggage in our work space.
This has been everyone’s problem. However, a young software engineer from Bengaluru has designed an online B2B market place, SCRAPYT, to handle such scrap. The yet to be launched platform would do a beta project in Bengaluru and later expand to other cities as well.
FAHAD CV is the man behind this awesome revolution, after understanding the effects of this mammoth problem. Being a software engineer since the last decade and a half shifted his domain to find a solution to the menacing issue.
In a candid chat with WAY2WORLD, FAHAD says, “Every year, the earth yields 55 billion tons of finite natural resources to transform into consumables. Yet 2.12 billion tons of materials, are discarded worldwide. Recyclables already supply 40% of the world’s raw material needs. But there is the power to supply Recyclables much, much more.”
Adding that this is where SCRAPYT, would like to foray and fill the gap for better utility of waste. The platform would help to collect recyclables as soon as available for recycling and ensure proper recycling of it, through recyclers who comply with regulations.
This former founder of PICK AND DROP SHARE, a taxi aggregator, is planning to connect the subscribers with nearest professional and do the pickup on a short notice. The platform not only addresses the recycling problem but also ensures weight accuracy and business ethics followed by selected dealers to give best NET value, to its customers.
The serial entrepreneur reveals about the problem, ‘Everything is scrap after a point of time. Finding suitable scrap dealer on time is nightmare. Storage space for scrap is another challenge. High cycle-time from scrap to recycling.”
SCRAPYT offers the best solution, “Simplified platform scrapyt.com to connect easily with scrap dealers. Just post the scrap details, everything else taken care by platform within short period.”
WAY2WORLD salutes the visionary in planning an apt solution to this global problem. Though there are several in this segment, SCRAPYT is sure to carve a niche for itself because of decentralization on its aggregator platform. With Inputs from internet – RajKishan
