25 August 2018, Hyderabad: SMARTup events, brainchild of Ah! Ventures and Meetingsandoffices have carved a niche in the startup ecosystem. The event held in Hyderabad on 25-08-18 (Saturday) at 91 Springboard, HITEC City, had good participation from startups that had some positive traction.
The event started with ‘Art of Storytelling’, an essential aspect while creating content or pitching to investors. In fact content is supreme in any form be it a video, an advertisement, customer engagement or briefing the USP, hence narration becomes crucial to deliver the message in a better way.
This was followed by a session on ‘Deep reinforcement learning: interacting with the environment to solve business problems”. Just before lunch, there was a brief session on ‘Augmented Reality can help Close the Gap.’ The participants were enthralled as the industrial connoisseurs briefed about the various issues citing case studies.
The second half was one-to-one investor-founder meet. VENTURE WOLF, a Mumbai based investments facilitator and YOUR TRUSUTED PARTNER IN EARLYSTAGE BUSINESS’ partnered this summit on the investor’s panel. SOOS, a Gurgaon based startup was represented by GAURAV SHARMA, Founder & CEO. This platform solves the major issue of the automobile dealers in delivering their vehicles as per customer requests. The platform assists dealers when unforeseen breakdowns occur. The platform has offline presence with a fleet of trained drivers who take care of the vehicle and get them to the destination points. Apart from this, the platform tracks the vehicles and updates the status to the dealers.
APNA TRUCKS, a Hyderabad based startup was represented by G HARI KIRAN, Founder & CEO. This logistics company assures truck owners of regular loads. The company started a couple of years ago has some reputable clients in its portfolio.
